It all started with Lulu.
Some dogs change your life. One changed the direction of mine.
For 13 years, Lulu was my best friend, my constant, and one of the greatest loves of my life. Losing her to bone cancer was heartbreaking, and no matter how much time we had together, it never would have been enough.
Loving Lulu taught me just how much an animal can change someone’s life. Through fostering for several rescues here in Austin, I’ve had the privilege of helping other dogs find that same love, safety, and sense of belonging.
When I started building Pakloop, I knew I wanted it to be more than just another app. I wanted to create something meaningful that supports the people giving animals a second chance.
I can’t give Lulu more time, but I can carry the love she gave me into something that helps others.
Because somewhere out there, someone’s Lulu is still waiting to be found.
